The Nera2 Pro IIC is Oticon’s smallest custom device. However, with reduced size comes reduced features, meaning that the larger custom devices, and non-custom devices will perform better in more challenging listening situations. The Nera2 Pro IIC features two BrainHearing^TM technologies (YouMatics and SpatialSound) as well as Binaural Processing (for improved localisation and hearing in background noise). The Nera2 Pro IIC includes wireless compatibility, making it a discrete option that can also connect to the Oticon wireless accessory range, however because of the small battery users may find themselves having to change the battery more often. The Nera2 Pro IIC is worth considering for those who want the most discrete device that Oticon has to offer, and who do not need a device for situations that have worse than mild levels of background noise.
