The Mini Canal is the smallest device in the Stride 800 series to offer the possibility of directional microphones and wireless connectivity. However, depending on the size, and shape, of the ear canal, one (or both) of these features may need to be removed in order to fit the core components into the device. In these cases, the CIC or IIC is a smaller option still. The Stride 800 Mini Canal includes an automatic program that adjusts the hearing aid features across six listening environments (including music) and the hearing aids will communicate to optimise the directionality in background noise (providing wireless technology and directionality are included). The Stride 800 Mini Canal is a good option for those who have a moderate difficulty hearing in background noise.
