How to Connect Phonak Marvel aids to a TV Connector
The TV Connector allows you to stream your TV audio direct to your Phonak Marvel hearing aids. This provides a superior sound quality as it overcomes speaker quality issues, room acoustic issues, and distance issues.
Pairing your hearing aids with the TVConnector is simple:
- Ensure the TV Connector is plugged in to a power source and switched on. You should see a green light at the back of the device.
- Make sure your hearing aids are switched on & inserted in your ears and that you are within 1 metre of the TV Connector.
- If the TV Connector is new and has never been paired to your hearing aids before, then it will automatically search and pair with your hearing aids once it is plugged into a power source and switched on. You will hear a series of confirmation beeps in your hearing aids once this is complete. This may take up to 10 seconds.
If your hearing aids were previously paired to the TV Connector but have lost the connection, or you have new hearing aids and would like to pair them with a TV Connector that has previously been paired to different hearing aids, then you need to initiate the pairing process.
Press the Connect button on the back of the TV Connector.
The indicator light will start flashing blue.
You will hear a series of confirmation beeps in your hearing aids once the connection is complete. This may take up to 10 seconds.
The TV Connector will connect to any compatible hearing aid within range during the connection process. You only need to complete the initial connection process once - the hearing aid default setting will be to automatically connect when in range of the TV Connector (approximately 10 metres) whenever it is switched on.
