To Our Valued Clients,
Our first priority is your health and we’re pleased to outline the measures we have put in place during the COVID-19 and the Australian flu season.
In addition, our clinic rooms and reception areas are regularly disinfected.
For your convenience, we have hand sanitizers in each clinic and, if you prefer, we can supply you with a mask and gloves to wear during your visit (depending on availability). You may also request the clinician wear the same.
Value Hearing clinics follow the environmental management advice given by the health departments in each state for your protection.
Value Hearing clinics are located in business professional premises, away from highly populated areas like shopping centres. We do not over-book, so you are not normally left to wait in a busy waiting room with other people. You may also request a private consultation, where we’ll add some time padding in front of and after your appointment. This makes the likelihood of running into other clients during your visit very low.
Value Hearing is a very safe place to visit for your hearing appointments.
The Value Hearing Team is monitoring the situation carefully and taking advice from the World Health Organisation and the Australian Department of Health.
We will update the advice on this page based on the recommendations of the world’s leading health professionals.
We also have available remote support and phone consultations for those concerned coming into clinic.
We are advising staff with any symptoms associated with COVID-19 to remain at home until their symptoms have passed.
Staff are also required to wash their hands between clients and use hand sanitiser frequently during consultations.
Firstly, wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer and rub your hands for 20 seconds. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has an excellent poster on how to thoroughly wash your hands using either soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Secondly, perform good health management. Sneeze or cough into a tissue and throw it away immediately or cough into the crook of your arm. If possible, avoid close direct contact with anyone with flu-like symptoms.
Please note:
We will reschedule your appointment to a future date in these cases.
